Description of technique:
One sure way to keep your children from feeling too old to play games is to play along with them.

Keeping yourself young at heart is the best role model for your child to do the same. As a parent, making time to play all sorts of games with your child will lead to hours of wonderful sharing. Whether it is a board game, sports, cards, puzzles etc., you and your child can have endless fun learning about each other. Make it a game to find new and exciting things that you can do together. If your child is a sports fan, go to a sports event every now and then, if your child likes to play cards, designate special evenings as "game night" and try making up new rules for your favorite board game.
