Appropriate age group(s):
12 to 15

Description of technique:
What do you do when your child wants to go on a date with her "boyfriend" alone (at a young age)?

Other comments or suggestions:
Just let them go. They need to be social. Maybe have your daughter do a double date with one of her friends. But you should not follow them around like you're a stalker because that could make them feel insecure.
