1. Look in your television guide to find special programs on PBS, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel and other family viewing stations.

2. Use your television as a learning tool by watching selected shows together.

3. Turn the television off and discuss the program.

4. How does it relate to your child's school work and classes (e.g. social studies and history)?
