Educational Equity Center, with a grant from the National Science Foundation has developed a series of fun science activities for parents to do at home with their daughters. The program, called, Science:It's a Girl Thing is meant to promote an interest in science among young girls who are, often inadvertently, discouraged from pursuing science study.
