A month, maybe less or more.

Materials:
5 nails
a jar
water
oil
paint
wax - any kind, candle wax or car wax
a piece of wood - to nail five nails to

What is the hypothesis of this science project? What does the experiment aim to prove?
Which liquid coverings cause metal to rust faster?

Instructions:
Nail the lid of the jar to the piece of wood, but keep the nail up, so that only a little bit is nailed in. Then fill the jar with water and screw the wood with the lid on to the nail. Nail the other 4 nails to the wood, but seperate them evenly. Cover a light coating of the wax, paint, oil and wax on the nails, let them sit and record observations.
