Programs and Activities Offered:
Hawaii Young Authors Camp. Daily writing workshops, guest author and illustrator visits, daily cultural excursions, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, surfing, hula, and other Hawaiian activities. Special focus on Hawaiian marine biology and ecology. Weekend trip to the island of Molokai.

Special Camp Features:
The Hawaii Young Authors Camp is hosted by GAMEKIDS.COM. Student work is published and webcast online. Only 40 students are chosen. Past students have come from throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Germany, and South America.

Duration of Program and Rates:
Two Week Day Camp program on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Out of State students are paired and hosted by local families with children with similar ages and interests.

Dates: July 22 - August 4, 2001.

Cost: $800 plus airfare and meals.
