Gender and Age Group:
youth w/juvenile diabetes

Programs and Activities Offered:
It looks like they have programs all over the USA; obviously, there will be similarities, and differences, in resources and offerings.

Special Camp Features:
The purpose of the camp is to help the child begin to take Ownership of his/her own health, and teach techniques in management of all aspects of diabetes care. (This can actually become more important and challenging with teens!) One of my daughter's friends has attended regional meetings and camp, and it has been a pleasure to watch her become healthier and happier! She's now using an insulin pump, which has rocked her world in a Very positive manner.

Duration of Program and Rates:
Variable.
