Girls and Boys: 8 to 18.

Programs and Activities Offered:
Photography camps provide a wide variety of picture-taking experiences. Campers will learn the basics from how to use the camera to the advanced elements of good composition and lighting. Depending upon location, photography camps may or may not include other physical activities.

Special Camp Features:
Campers learn how to use a camera, starting with how to load and rewind film. Campers get first-hand experience taking pictures in different settings, using different composition elements, and get an understanding of framing and light. Some camps offer classes in film development.

Duration of Program and Rates:
Camp dates and rates will vary but most photography camps offer one- to two-week programs ranging from $50 to $150 per day. Campers should bring their own camera and film, developing costs are extra.
