Gender and Age Group:
Girls and Boys: 10 to 18.

Programs and Activities Offered:
Equestrian camps feature a wide range of activities in all aspects of horse care and athletics. Below are just some of the programs that most academies have to offer. Individual camp activities will vary.

Team Sports: Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball
Individual Sports: Golf, Karate
Creative Arts: Arts & Crafts
Water Sports: Swimming instruction
Other Activities: Hiking, Horse care, Farm chores

Special Camp Features:
Campers will learn how to take care of horses and will be responsible for various ranch chores. Lessons include riding and jumping techniques as well as basic veterinarian skills. Campers may go on day long trail rides or participate in a "mini rodeo."

Duration of Program and Rates:
Camp dates and rates will vary but most equestrian camps offer one-, two- or entire eight-week summer programs ranging from $1,500 to $6,000.
