4 Star Technique Rating

Description of discipline technique:
If it's not morally or physically harmful, just let the child experience the natural consequence of his/her actions. If he/she forgets his lunch, he/she goes hungry. If he/she breaks something, he/she replaces it.

Appropriate age group(s):
18 months and up

Other suggestions or comments:
I highly recommend Positive Discipline (although, ignore what Jane Nelsen says about infants) and Kids Are Worth It.
