4 Star Technique Rating

Description of discipline technique:
Instead of punishing my girls by sending them to their room, or grounding them, I assign them an "extra" chore to do on that particular day that they were misbehaving at school or daycare. For example, my kitchen cabinets have been scrubbed inside and out, my kitchen floor and baseboards are scrubbed, the bathrooms have been cleaned, etc.

Appropriate age group(s):
All

Other suggestions or comments:
Let them do the chores that are on the "bottom of list" of priorities.
