Description of technique:
I love to sing and I love to make up my own words to songs that fit my particular situation at the moment. Now, so do my kids. We usually use existing melodies like itsy bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle, or the latest top ten hit and we now have quite a repetoire. It's really, really funny and now quite a tradition. Sit down and write your own family songs. Don't get too serious, have fun with it and you'll be amazed at what comes out. By the way, you don't always have to rhyme but it is fun to try! We've even made up a few of our own words along the way.

Appropriate age group(s):
Elementary School on up.
