Description of technique:
Child development researchers have long believed that music is a key element for early development. Recent studies show that early exposure to classical music can increase a child's math and logic skills. So start by singing and playing your favorite music (classical and all other types) for your child as soon as they are born (or even when they are still in the womb!). Music is soothing to everyone's soul and particularly helpful on the really fussy days. Not only will you be encouraging your child's appreciation for music, you may be making them smarter too.

Appropriate age group(s):
From conception on up!

Other suggestions or comments:
Any type of music will do. Babies will often bounce or kick their arms and legs in response!
