Description of stocking-stuffer idea:
Pick a country or state. Do a little quick research on the state or country on the internet. It may be a place you have already gone or even a place you paln to go... or even a place where ancestors have gone. Find out facts, stories, games, foods, maps, travel guides. You can take it as far as you want. Combine information into a book printed in color, or nice paper. Add food, ball for game, etc. Example: include a recipe for gumbo from Lousiana, Louis Armstrong cd, Mardi Gras beads, some rue... Hawaii could have a book on volanoes, macadami nuts... San Fransico chocolate from Ghirardelli, a book on China Town, etc. France could have cheese, a baby Eiffel tower, wine for an adult, a travel guide, etc.

Other comments or suggestions:
This can be addapted to any age, including adults. It might be planning a imaginary trip, or a way to introduce to the family the beggining of planning a real trip!
