Description of technique for limiting kids' TV-time:
We have TV-Guard. With this apparatus we can give the kids Budget and Blackout-time for TV (for example: 10 hours TV-Budget per week and TV-Allowance from 3:30 - 9:00, with Blackout-time during homework time and after bedtime and in the morning).
The kids must give their code in the TV-Guard and the timer begins to run. When the Budget is over or for the Blackout-time, the TV is off. The kids learn to plan their TV-time.

Appropriate age group(s):
6-16
