Description of technique for limiting kids' TV-time:
I have always used Lego building blocks as a way to intrigue and entertain my children so that they have no desire to watch TV. With legos they can get lost in their imagination instead of being bombarded with ads on TV.

Appropriate age group(s):
Ages 5 and up

Other suggestions or comments:
You'd be suprised how much girls like this toy as well.
