Description of technique for limiting kids' TV-time:
Get your calendar out and mark the week of April 22 to April 28 in bright red marker. This is National TV Turnoff Week. You may want to start slowly by turning the TV off just one day a week and building up to all seven days. Hey, if Arthur and his friends can do it, so can you! You'll be amazed at how much more you can accomplish and the family moments that you'll share when your not just vegging out in front of the tube!

Visit TV Turnoff Week for more fun stuff to do besides watching TV.

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and up
