Description of technique for limiting kids' TV-time:
I know you know this already but reading to your kids is one of the most important gifts that you can give to them and to yourself as well. For every hour of TV that you watch, why not match it with an hour of reading to your kids. We all have such busy lives today but we all need gentle reminders of what's really important. When our kids are grown and out of the house (and that day will come faster than you ever imagined!), we won't wish that we had spent more time working or cleaning the house, we'll wish we had spent more time really enjoying our kids.
