3 Star Suggestion Rating

Briefly describe this fundraising event:
Sell favorite home-baked goods.

Organizing the event:
Today's Moms and Dads are more than willing to whip up their kid's favorite treats from the kitchen. Why not use home-baked goods to make some money for your school at the same time?

1. Send home flyers asking parents to whip up one of their favorite treats for a particular club or organized event.

2. Sell the delicious treats: $.50 per cookie or brownie, $2.50 per loaf of bread.

3. Customers are satisfied, the school reaps all the profits.

Capital possibilities:
Yummy treats are all donated for a full 100% school profit.

Degree of difficulty:
Easy as pie: bake and sell.

Other suggestions or comments:
This fundraiser may work especially well over the holiday season. You might want to create a few batches of holiday cookies so that people can buy them (nicely packaged with ribbons) as gifts!
