Briefly describe this fundraising event:
Have a big garage sale!

Organizing the event:
One man's junk can be a school's treasure. Organize a garage sale and you'll clean out your house and give back to the community at the same time.

1. Start by getting the word with flyers to all the students and parents in your school. Pick out a Saturday and schedule it from 8a.m. to 2p.m.

2. Set up tables in the school parking lot and distribute flyers throughout the town letting everyone know about the biggest school garage sale event in history! (Why not make it an annual event!)

3. Next go through your house, room by room and don't forget that basement, attic and the storage area over the garage. Box up and sell everything you haven't used over the past year. I know it's hard, but it's for your own good and the good of the school!

3. Pick up some little stickers at the grocery or drug store and price all items.

Capital possibilities:
School gets 100% of profits, you get a clean house!

Degree of difficulty:
Easy for some, a little more difficult for the rest of us packrats!
