A School Swap is like a big School Garage Sale except you don't sell items, you swap items! For example if you bring 10 items of clothing you leave with 10 items of clothing. Schools charge admission fee and sell concessions and spirit wear.

Organizing the event:
Work within your school's guidelines for planning and promoting events. It's best to limit your swap to 1 to 3 categories like clothing, books and DVDs/CDs or Toys. This way swaps are of equal value. Capital possibilities:
A good amount to charge would be $10 per person plus your earnings for concessions. Don't limit your swap to just school families - open it up to other schools and the local community.
