4 Star Suggestion Rating

Briefly describe this fundraising event:
A no fuss, no doo-dad book fair at last! Flexible programs tailored to the school's needs. The Usborne consultant is present at the book fair.

Organizing the event:
After deciding on the dates, have each child and teacher make a wish list for the free books at the Preview Night/Day. You can also have a Book Chat Night (or Day). Publicize the bookfair using the materials provided. The consultant will set up and tear down and attend part of the bookfair. Volunteers always increase the sales, so if you want a bigger bookfair, you'll want volunteers for the checkout. Wishlists, publicity, and volunteers are the three keys to a great event!

Capital possibilities:
Benefits range from up to 30% in cash, or up to an additional 50% in free books.

Degree of difficulty:
With no set up or tear down required, this is very easy. The hardest part is picking the free books or deciding what to do with the cash!

Other suggestions or comments:
Most of the books are award winners; the quality is so good that Usborne offers a customer-damaged half-price replacement policy. Contact me for a consultant in your area.
