For which mode(s) of transportation is this tip or activity appropriate?
Traveling by boat

Describe this trip activity or tip:
If you or your child gets sea sick while you are on a boat, you should never ever go to the middle areas of the boat because this is where more rocking is experienced. The middle is the worst place to go. Go to the very sides or very back of the boat and look out right where the sea meets the sky and concentrate on that one little spot until you feel better.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
On very large boats, this may not be necessary as they do not rock very much.
The front of the boat might work, but you see all the waves coming right at you.
