Describe this trip activity or tip:
This is a favorite with our family for car trips, though any mode of transportation would be suitable. We start off naming a category of something found in a supermarket - such as " name something in the supermarket that has the name of a place in it". This could be "Old El Paso", "Boston Market", "Philadelphia Cream Cheese", etc. After those are exhausted we do another category, such as "name something in the supermarket which is associated with it's own character". This will get you things like, "Tony the Tiger", "Mrs. Butterworth", and "Uncle Ben". This game is especially fun for stopping at grocery stores in other places, and looking at the regional brands, and is especially great if you happen to be travelling abroad. This also makes a nice scavenger hunt in the market game.
