Describe this trip activity or tip:
This activity works well with children who enjoy hearing or telling stories. Remind your children that every story needs a beginning, middle, and end. You might even explain that many start with, "Once upon a time," and end with, "and he/she/it/they lived happily ever after." Start the activity by saying, "Once upon a time there was a monster/princess/old man", etc. Each family member then must add a sentence, building the story. Try to encourage action with verbs and descriptive adjectives by asking questions like, "Good, what kind of monster was it? What color was it?"

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Though quite difficult, my daughter often gives me elements like setting and characters, then I have to create a story. Try to use characters that your child can identify with.
