Describe this trip activity or tip:
Creating the ultimate food bag or snack bag, as we like to call it, is essential to any long car ride. Here are a list of the items that have made our hours spent in the car much more tasty.
1. As a Mom, I like to keep the feed bag up in the front with me. It keeps the mess to a minimum and I can better control the intake! 2. I like to pack the foods into single-serving Rubbermaid containers that I can open easily (especially if I'm driving alone) and that fit nicely into small hands.
3. Favorite car foods: Cheerios, Goldfish, cereal bars, pretzels, cheese sticks, and apples. 4. Favorite car beverage: Juice of choice in a spill-proof cup. 5. Favorite lunch: Stopping at McDonald's (one less thing to pack), getting a new Happy Meal toy that the kids can play with in the car, stretching my legs and taking a bathroom break.
