For which mode(s) of transportation is this tip or activity appropriate?
Traveling by car (or bus)

Describe this trip activity or tip:
Create several bingo forms with clip art depicting things you might see along your trip. Select things like cows, horses, planes, rivers, tractor trailers, construction equipment, one way signs, bridges, or barns. You can create an image bank and select and mix the pictures in different combinations to make several different bingo sheets. Make sure the pictures are easy to identify. When a player sees one of the items, he/she should call it out to verify the object and all players can cross out that item. As in any bingo, first player to get a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, wins. Bingo sheets for younger children could have fewer pictures so they get the thrill of the win. Add more pictures for older players.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
You can specialize your bingo sheets to specific trips - ie one in a more urban setting or in a more rural one. Also, you could incorporate state names as you pass state lines, river or water body names, specific car types, or specific construction equipment to add an element of learning to the game.
