Describe this trip activity or tip:
I have an idea to share with parents who travel in cars/vans with kids. Buy a mobile video player for in the car/van. We have three kids, and we almost NEVER hear the words, "Are we there yet?" and our kids almost never have to hear, "Keep your hands to yourself" and "Stop fighting," etc. from us!

Even though it gets messy, we have found it important to have healthy snack foods in the car, along with individual containers of water because children do not relate well to the notion of eating 3 times per day.
