Description of this celebration activity:
Celebrate midnight in another country! In the Eastern U.S. it is midnight when it is 8:00 here. It's a great way to celebrate with little ones and then put them to bed so that they don't have to stay awake until 12:00. We've done it in Brasil, Greenland and even the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with an underwater theme. It's great fun and everyone is awake for the festivities!

Setting up and preparing for this celebration activity:
Let guests know that you will be celebrating midnight in another country. Ask them to bring music, a dish or or costume from that country.
