Age group(s) for this celebration activity:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Description of this celebration activity:
Get together a group of family and friends with kids. Let them all bring a gift, something simple. At 11:45, exchange gifts and pass out the grape juice. At midnight, everyone open up their presents and this way everyone opens their hearts, their home and of course their "PRESENTS". It's also fun to come up with a theme so you can buy presents that fit that theme, also. You can even get in costume and have a BLAST!!

Setting up and preparing for this celebration activity:
Everyone go to their local discount store and buy an inexpensive gift and serve snacks with juice or beverage of choice. Simple and cheap!!

Other suggestions or comments:
Try a theme with this. The kids will get a kick out of this and it will make them feel a part of the party and the NEW YEAR because it is their future and ours!!!
