Description of this celebration activity:
Home videos. We spend hours taping everyday moments, the first birthdays, the first Christmas, the first day of school, graduation and wedding days. Then, we look at the tape once, maybe, and put it away on a shelf. Children grow up so fast, why not spend the last day of the year watching the movie of YOUR family's life with the people you love most.

Setting up and preparing for this celebration activity:
1. No movie is very good without popcorn. First, make sure that everyone has a beverage of choice and make up a big batch of your favorite popcorn.
2. Tonight should be the night to let the kids have their fill of their favorite candies such as Mike and Ikes, Milk Duds or Twizzlers. O.K., if you have to, fresh fruit and Nutri-Grain bars are fine. (But not as much fun!)
3. Depending on the hours of footage you want to review, you may want to have an early and a late show. During intermission, serve the favorite family meal while sharing memories of favorite past experiences.
