Description of this celebration activity:
Every city in America will have it's own version of this year's first night celebration. Celebration events run the gamut and will include firework displays, ice sculptures, special displays at museums, and of course, lots of music, dancing and good food. And there will be plenty of organized events especially for children. Things like pony rides, petting zoos, face painting, ice skating and much more. Celebrations usually start early and end late and that makes it easy to decide what events will work best for you and your family.

Setting up and preparing for this celebration activity:
1. Check your city's newspaper or web site for the latest up-to-the-minute information on the schedule of events and discount coupons.
2. Be sure that everyone in the family is dressed warmly.

Other suggestions or comments:
Be sure to take lots of pictures to add to the family photo album.
