Description of this celebration activity:
one christmas we recieved a cow bank. all year we drop our coins in and on new years day together we open and count the coins into money wrappers. we than decide what we want to do with it as a family. go to the movies,buy a game, a tree, even a chance to give to a charity.

Setting up and preparing for this celebration activity:
a nice big piggy bank or any other container to save in. throughout the year put money in.

Other suggestions or comments:
our kids love this. they even put their own change in. we also take our best guess as to how much we think is in the bank.
