1 Star Gift Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time to make this gift:
A few hours

Materials:
pattern of animal desired
cotton stuffing sold in bags
scissors
thread
eyes
felt
fake fur of your choice

Instructions:
Follow the directions on the pattern package or create your own animal.
Some come printed on material and all you have to do is cut them out, sew them up and stuff them like a pillow.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Don't use any small bead type of eyes for small children or stuff them with small objects that might come out if they rip. A smaller child might swallow these type of things. Just use different colored threads to make eyes and nose for smaller children.
When I was little, my mother use to make me these types of animals and pillow type ones (they even come as dolls) and I LOVED THEM!
