Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
High School & Beyond

Estimated time to make this gift:
Minutes... literally!

Materials:
wax paper
confetti, dried flowers, glitter, etc...
iron

Instructions:
Place a piece of wax paper down, sprinkle your confetti or dried flowers, glitter, whatever you like on the paper. Cover with another piece the same size. When iron is hot, iron lightly across... The wax melts together, creating a "see-through" effect wrapping paper.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Use items that will "bend" easily... remember, this is wrapping paper and will have to conform to boxes, etc.

The younger children can decide what to put "in" the paper, and help sprinkle it.

After you create a sheet of wrapping paper, you could use scissors with a decorative edge to add some shape to the edges. Or just cut straight with regular scissors.
