Materials:
pint or quart canning jar
ring top
fabric cut in 5-6" diameter circle
peppermint candies
self adhesive labels
strips of paper with encouraging Bible scripture on them
optional: paints and/or stickers to decorate jar

Instructions:
Fill jar with mints and folded strips of scripture, place fabric circle on jar top screw ring top over circle securing the contents or the jar. Write or print "Encourage-mint Jar (use when needed!)" on label, place on front of jar. Can decorate the jar by painting or using stickers.

This was a great gift for all our "Senior" members of our church, shut-ins and relatives and friends in the nursing home.
