4 Star Gift Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this gift:
10-15 minutes

Materials:
ceramic tile of choice
your favorite brand of glass paint (red and green)
glaze (if recommended by paint manufacturer)
cotton swabs

Instructions:
Dip fingertip in green paint. Stamp on tile in a circular pattern. To make a bow, dip clean fingertip in red paint and make 4 fingerprints in an "x" shape at desired location on wreath. With swab dipped in red paint add red berries as desired. Allow to dry according to manufacturers instructions and glaze if recommended.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Sometimes local tile companies will donate plain tiles for use with a class. I use 4" white tiles and lightly draw a circle with a air erasable pencil (look in quilting dept) to give the younger kids a basic shape to follow. Use your imagination: how about a triangle of green fingerprints as a xmas tree! Paint the tile light blue and use white paint to stamp fingertip snowmen!
