Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this gift:
Depends

Materials:
Felt in various colors, googly eyes from the craft store, glue, safety pin, cookie cutters, glue, scissors.

Instructions:
Cut differant holiday shapes out for your child. I use small cookie cutters and trace them on the felt. Have your child glue on the eyes and other accessories. Slip a safety pin thru the top and close. Hang on tree!

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Cut out various small shapes for use as mouths, hats, clothes, buttons, etc. so your child can mix and match. Look for gingerbread man and Christmas tree cookie cutters or you can just cut out 2-3 inch diameter circles to look like ball shaped ornaments.
