Board game description/strategy:
You have a dozen dice which have pictures on each side. The idea of the game is to throw the dice and try to make a word or phrase using any number of pictures you can see. You don't have to take the literal meaning of the picture, i.e. a picture of a yellow band ring could be described as round, ring, band, circle, hoop, hole, golden, jewelery, etc. A picture of an eye could be eye, pupil, see, ball, look, sight (you get the idea...)

Learning skills addressed by this game:
The child learns how to think about how things can be looked at differently or have different meanings. They have to write down their words and phrase, so it's great for spelling and increasing vocabulary. They can explore diferent veiw points and concepts. Because they have to do it against the clock (well an egg timer!) it helps them learn to focus on a problem.

Other comments about this game:
I just think this game appears deceptively simple but in actual fact is very challenging for both you and the child. A lot of children's games can be a chore to play but this is great. It's quick and easy to set up with very little room needed so can travel really easily.
