Elementary School

Cost of birthday party activity:
Usual cost of food and cake, decorations and Hot Wheels.

Birthday party planning information:
For the Hot Wheels lover!
Food: Serve racecar sandwiches. Start by making small rectangular sandwiches - peanut butter and jelly is a popular choice. Use raisins for wheels, a piece of Cheerios cereal for a steering wheel, and a pretzel stick tailpipe.
Cake: Bake a 9"x13" cake with green icing. Take a roll of Fruit by the Foot and make a track that curves all around the cake. This is your chance to get creative with racetrack design. If you like, add a start and finish line with a decorating tube of icing. You can even make racing flags with toothpicks and contruction paper triangles. Place Hot Wheels or foil-wrapped chocolate racecars along the "strip."

Other suggestions or comments:
Using dark streamers or thick ribbons, make a racetrack around the room and let your guests have races with Hot Wheels.
Make sure to send guests home with a few new Hot Wheels.
