Age group(s) for this birthday party activity:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School
Cost of birthday party activity:
Free, you only need the chairs.
Birthday party planning information:
First, count the number of children in the party, depending on who wants to participate. Then, put the chairs in a line. If the first chair is facing the front, the second chair should face the back and so on. Then, turn on the music and all the kids should walk or dance around the chairs. When the person who is playing the music stops the music, everyone should try to sit in the first chair available. The child who didn't find a spot will have to go out of the game and so on, until you get the winner.
Other suggestions or comments:
Give the winner a prize and play other games so everybody gets a chance to win.
