Set up a tent or two in the backyard and fill with balloons.

Put out a big roll of paper and paints and let the kids have fun. (Warn parents not to wear nice clothing and provide big old tee shirts for smocks).

Make a whole bunch of play dough and put on a toddler table with cookie cutters.

Make a really creative toddler cake. We made one big cake. Cut into rectangles. Linked together with licorice. Used Oreo cookies for wheels. Decorated with colorful frosting. Used colored candies for lights. And the kids loved, loved, loved this choo choo train cake.

Prepare a bag of goodies for each child to take home.

Provide lots of food toddler will like (little hot dogs, pretzels, french fries, pizza) and also food parents will like (tastes range from pizza to gourmet depending on your style).

Have fun fun fun.

Don't forget the camera.
