Cost of birthday party activity:
Minimal for supplies -Depends on what is on hand. Cake/ice cream and foodies as needed. Camera and film to make fashion shots. A video camera and tv to show the participants the production.

Birthday party planning information:
We sent out invitations made with the computer inviting girls to join us for a dress-up fashion party. Girls were instructed to wear or bring their favorite dress-up clothes for a fashion show. We had a screen so the girls could change behind. I had some high school girls on hand to do make-up and hair. We made "glamour shots" photos of each of the girls then did a "fashion show" that we video taped. The girls had a great time constantly changing clothes and trying on something new. No other activities needed.

Other suggestions or comments:
Take a break and do the cake thing in the middle. The girls loved dressing up and seeing themselves on the video. We mailed the fashion photo with a thank you note from the party.
