Birthday party planning information:
I buy party favors for both of my kids birthday parties at the end of summer clearance at usually Walmart and/or Target. My kids usually have the best favors but I buy them sometimes at 75 to 90 percent off.
Other suggestions or comments:
Examples...for summer birthday parties (usually pool parties)...I have bought sand buckets for 10 cents each, large 54 count containers of Crayola sidewalk chalk for $1, no spill bubble tumblers and toys for $1 or less, tropical plastic pineapple, palm tree, and strawberry cups with a straw for 25 Cents (they were almost $3 each regularly). I bought water frisbees ($12.87 regular for 50 cents each), dive mask and snorkel sets ($8.97 regular for $1 each), and diving toy mega packs ($8.97 regular for 50 cents each). This is just what I have bought for this year. I have been doing this every year with the same results. I also plan themes in advance so that I can look for bargains. I bought a kids makeup set after Christmas for half price and split it up between treat bags. I have also bought lantern type flashlights ($3.97 regular for $1) for a camping party. I also have a huge Halloween party each year. I buy my favors after Halloween for the next year. The kids all love to come to my children's parties to get the cool favors.
