Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this decoration:
15 minutes

Materials:
paper plate
green tissue paper
peppermint candy
candy canes
bow

Instructions:
Tear the tissue paper into pieces. Cut hole in center of plate. Glue pieces of tissue paper all around the plate. Glue candy canes and peppermint candy on and add the bow.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
I left the wrappers on the peppermint candy but took them off of the candy canes. If you get too much glue on the candy canes it starts to bleed red.
