3 Star Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this decoration:
Half hour or less; some adult prep work

Materials:
Please see "Paper Chains" further on the craft ideas list. Basic concept: 25 red/green links with paper "bow" shape on top to signify 25 days until Christmas.

Instructions:
Some use glue stix, some use staples...but with Dec. 1 right around the corner, thought I would give this idea its own tag line.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
As the other parent in Chains mentioned, the colors can be adapted to suit other traditions, other holidays; (Easter, Kwanza, Hanukah).

I been workin' on the Chain Gang, all the live-long day...(Don't you know)That's the sound of the Mom workin' with the Chain...Ga-a-ang...get silly! Thank my daughter's kindergarten teachers (now retired) for this idea.
