4 Star Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Elementary School
Middle School

Estimated time to make this decoration:
1 hour

Materials:
needle & thread
a tree
popcorn
cranberries

Instructions:
String popcorn and cranberries on the thread. Hang it on tree branches (outside) which you can view from a window. Watch the birds enjoy their holiday treat (although sometimes the squirrels get greedy and run away with the goods).

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
This is something my family used to keep all the kids and a few adult visitors entertained during lulls on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.
