4 Star Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this decoration:
30 minutes

Materials:
poster or cardboard for frame
white glue
dry macaroni (your choice, but elbows work well)
spray paint

Instructions:
Cut wreath shaped frame from cardboard or posterboard; size is up to you (little ones can be tree ornaments). Spread white glue around wreath -- in squiggles so that coverage is good. Then the kids just stick on the macaroni. Set aside to dry. Next day, grown-up can spray paint -- gold works really well. Paper or ribbon bow can also be attached.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Very little kids can do this and feel really good about it. And, after being sprayed, the wreaths look great.
