4 Star Idea Rating

Appropriate age group(s):
Elementary School

Estimated time to make this decoration:
20 minutes

Materials:
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon glitter
2 teaspoons water

Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients together and press into Christmas shaped cookie cutters. Let dry overnight. Remove from cookie cutters and glue a loop of yarn to the back to hang.

Other comments or suggestions to consider:
Use "open" cookie cutters - the ones that just outline the shape. This will allow the shapes to pop out. These look icy and sparkly on your Christmas tree.
