Instructions for using this strategy:
My grandson is very hands-on. I buy him books that allow him to lift flaps, ect. These are usually his favorite books and he will sit still longer for them.

What is the benefit to the child with reading problems?
Because he likes to touch the books, he will sit longer while we read them and ask for more.
